Description
Description
This book teaches children to manage their thoughts and words without interrupting. Lucas always interrupts! All of your thoughts are very important to him, and when he has something to say, his words roar and growl in his stomach, wag and dance on his tongue and then push his teeth together, just before RASH (or interrupt). His mouth is a volcano! But when others start interrupting Lucas, he learns how to respectfully wait his turn to speak. My Mouth is a Volcano takes an empathetic approach to the habit of interrupting and teaches children an ingenious technique to help them manage their restless words and thoughts. Told from Lucas's perspective, this story offers parents, teachers, and therapists an entertaining way to teach children the value of respecting others by listening and waiting their turn to speak.
